La Geode
The géode belongs to the “Cité des sciences et de l’industrie” museum and to the Parc de la Villette. Built in 1985, it’ a movie theater for large and panoramic pictures. The film is beamed on a 180° screen of 1.000 square meters. The metallic structure shines under the sun rays and reflects the blue and grey colors of the main building.
In the background, the submarine Argonaut found a rest away from the sea but not far from the Canal Saint Martin.
Just behind the science museum, this fountain shows us that fluid mechanics can sometimes keep close to art.

Bas relief on the top of a door, place de l’Alma
What a lovely face, almost living on the top of this door. The slight smile and the eyes looking on the right give a strange feeling about this person. I just wonder who she was. Maybe the wife or the daughter of the owner of this building, Place de l’Alma.
