Absolutely perfect. I can smell the rain, hear the water. We’re having a drought here, unlike in Europe.
But what is the building across the street? I don’t think I’ve seen it. Is it the glass building near rue Reamur and rue du Temple? I’ll be embarassed if I saw it in le quartier latin.

Ah ha! I was going to paste the photo into a program where I could enlarge it to read the sign and voila! The title of the photo appeared: _carreau_du_temple_pluie_spirit_of_paris . It is indeed the building I was referring to. I love it because we “discovered” it in 2005 when we had lunch in the park near it. Thanks for the memory!

What a beautiful shot!
it reminds me of the french cafes under the rain in the center of paris!!!
What an incredibly true capure of the atmosphere of Paris on a rainy day. I feel there, seated at that table and watching the pouring rain in the street, feeling sorry for those who have to run under it.
Superb shot!!!
Beautiful black and white photo. The black and white adds so much to it.
