My best place in Paris. Good picnics avec la boite, good place where read a book, good place to reflect after a morning at the university!
How many memories!

Ah, there you are! I missed your photos. I love Place des Vosges. It is so much more pleasant than that other large place: hot, dry, unemotional Place Vendome. (Even though the Ritz and Cartier are in Place Vendome.) Place Royale is the other large one I like. Is that what it's called, behind the Comede Francais? Ah, my memory and French are terrible. I'll check the map next time. But, I like your photo with it's angles. It makes me feel like I'm lying down, or sitting against a tree, looking up at the lovely sight of sky, trees, and 17th century.

Just another "ordinary" place in Paris. It is extraordinary, isn't it? It seems that one location easily tops another. What a city!
